At Refresh Education we aim to tailor our curriculum to meet the needs of all of our students' individual requirements.
Our bespoke programme will allow to students to access the National Curriculum and complete qualifications throughout their time with us.
All Year 11 students will be given the opportunity to sit GCSE qualifications alongside vocational assessments in preparation for their next steps.
KS3
School years 7 - 9
KS3 Students will study a variety of National Curriculum topics including:

PSHE / RSE ( With some lessons separate from KS3 where appropriate)

Qualifications
GCSE & Vocational
All year 10 and 11 students will study and prepare for GSCE Maths and English and will have opportunity to sit these in the appropriate year.
Students will also sit Functional Skills in Maths and English throughout Years 10 & 11

All year 10 & 11 students will study BTEC Tech Award Level 1 & 2 across the 2 years from a choice of:

Short term packages
We offer bespoke packages tailored specifically for students seeking termly respite. Our comprehensive program includes core subjects such as Maths, English, Science, and IT , ensuring a well-rounded academic foundation. In addition to these, we provide Life Skills, Therapeutic Art , and Physical Education to support holistic development and personal well-being.
Our respite packages are ideal for short-term placements, accommodating medical needs, or aiding students in transitioning back into mainstream education after periods of absence.
Each student receives meaningful assessments over a short period, enabling us to track progress effectively and provide targeted support. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring a smooth and successful reintegration into their regular educational pathways
